You have a great point here. Not only do Tabor fans not come to the games but a lot of kids don't even bother to ask about what actually happened at the games. I am as guilty as the next person because I did not know about how exciting your game was either. However i think that we should have a way of hearing about each teams accomplishments somehow. I feel like if Mrs. Soden would send out the results of the previous weeks games as well as the upcoming games it would keep the community more involved. With so many students competing in spring sports it is harder to find spectators because there are less people around. The oweness falls on a very small number of students to come out and support their teams. Good luck with the rest of your season. You guys are doing really well.

Nice blog Tory. That game sounds awesome and I wish I could have seen it. I agree with you, the more fans the more exciting a game becomes and if a Tabor team wants to win something like a championship, then we definitely need a lot of fans. However, I don't think fans at Tabor are really able to make a difference in a game like all of the other prep schools are. At Tabor, kids aren't allowed to say what they want and we are only allowed to say positive things to our teams. This is usually taken as a joke and cheering usually isn't good. I know that the cheering sections at other prep schools are allowed to say what they want, and they usually get their teams really pumped up. I just don't understand, if Tabor is trying to prepare kids for college, don't you think we should be able to say whatever we want considering that there are no rules for appropriate cheering at college sporting events and no spectator gets kicked out of a game for insulting another player? I like your blog idea; however I don't think that the reason for everyone not showing up to your game is because they're tanning and stuff. Tabor has a lot of spring sports and everyone usually has a game on Wednesday and Saturday so most of the time everyone isn't able to go to everyone's game. I do agree with you though, people should really make an effort to come to our game possible and cheer the best they can.
